Last week your children became published authors. They went through the process of choosing a piece to publish, revising that story, editing that story and then fancying up (cover, title, cover) that story. They learned a saying: "Good, better, best. Never let it rest. Til your good is your better, and your better is your best!" Content and Curriculum:
On Monday we will begin our 34th day in Kindergarten! Very hard to believe! Being a short week for the students, many of our lessons will continue to build upon what we have been doing this week.
During Writing Workshop we will continue to observe, record and write as scientists. During Reading our lessons will teach how partners talk about their books to deepen their connections and understandings. During Math we will be wrapping up our chapter based on numbers 0-10 working on composing, decomposing, one more and one less than, all and fewer.
